It all started in 2006 when my family followed the Iditarod for the first time. I read everything I could find about sled dogs and Alaska and fell in love with the the idea of long-distance travel by dog team and life in the North. It soon became my dream to own a kennel of Alaskan Huskies and, ultimately, to run the Iditarod. In 2010 my dream became a reality when I got my first Alaskan Husky, Acadia, for my birthday. Since then my kennel has grown to 18 dogs and my love of the mushing lifestyle has grown right along with my kennel. I am Livin' my Dream!!!

 

We are located in central Ohio and have raced in Ohio and Michigan. I am excited to announce that the Livin' a Dream team will be moving to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan during the 2014/2015 season to run sled dog tours and share this incredible sport with many people.
